Bold Conqueror

Failing over and over again spiritually can be very discouraging, especially for a young believer who wants to do right but struggles with pride, selfishness, and being faithful in their Bible reading and Prayer. One day the Lord showed me that I was playing Defense. I was just trying to survive and deflect Satan’s arrows and failing miserably. I needed to get on the Offense and start scoring. I needed to attack the enemy through prayer and good works and wielding the Sword of the Word of God to vanquish my foe. That gave me a different perspective entirely. When I spend much time in prayer each morning worshiping my Captain, He empowers me to be a bold conqueror through each day. “Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” -Psalm 108:13
